Patronization of sports by NRBC Bank.

Mr. S M Parvez Tamal, Chairman of NRB Commercial Bank has committed to patronize sports for ensuring physical and mental growth of youth of the nation. He said that a healthy nation shall be formed through sports. In a press conference held on Tuesday, 18 June, 2019, Mr. Parvez handed over the National Flag to Mr. Mohammad Shamsuzzaman Arafat, a participant of Ironman European Championship, Frankfurt-2019 representing Bangladesh. NRBC Bank has given a specialized racing bi-cycle to Mr. Arafat under CSR activities of the Bank. On 30 June 2019, Mr. Mohammad Shamsuzzaman Arafat will participate in Ironman European Championship which to be held at Frankfurt in Germany. Mr. Khondoker Rashed Maqsood, Managing Director & CEO, Deputy Managing Director Mr. Md. Mukhter Hossain, Mr. Harunor Rashid, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Mr. Md. Ruhul Amin, Head of Public Relations Division attended the Conference. It is mentioned here that Ironman European Championship, Frankfrut-2019 is a triathlon competition where an athlete has to complete 3.8 km swimming, 185 km cycling and 42.2 km running within 15 hours. Mr. Arafat also seeks blessing so that he can successfully complete the Ironman European Championship, Frankfurt-2019 and expects to be a top Athlete of the country
