NRBC Bank and BREB partner to collect electricity bills via e-Banking

NRBC Bank and Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) recently have signed an agreement at their Head Quarter at Khilkhet, Nikunjyo-2, Dhaka to start collecting consumer electricity bills through online/mobile banking platform. From now on customers can pay BREB electricity bills through NRBC PLANET application, i-Banking channel, Agent Banking channel and from Retailers points. Mr.Kazi Md.Safayet Kabir, Head of Retail, FI & BD Division, NRBC Bank and Mr.Md.Abdul Hai, Secretary, BREB signed the agreement. Mr. Dipankar Biswas, Member (Finance), BREB, Mr.Md.Hossain Patwary, Controller (Finance & Accounts), BREB, Mr.Arman Ahsan, Director (Finance), BREB, Mr.Masud Parves, Director (Finance), BREB,  Mr.Mohd.Fahim Uddin, Senior System Analist, BREB, Mr.Razidul Islam, VP, ICT Division, NRBC Bank, Mr.Subhashis Roy, VP, FI & BD Division, NRBC Bank and other high Officials from both organizations were also present in the ceremony.

 

NRBC Bank has already been set up 103 Branches, 661 Sub-Branches including 131 rural micro credit Sub-Branches & 331 operational Land Registration Fees Collection Booths all over the country to provide banking services and to help the un-employed and poor families of villages. Since beginning NRBC Bank is collecting BREB consumer electricity bills in its all Branches, Sub-Branches and Agent points. NRBC Bank has also established its 130 own collection boots in PBS (Palli Bidyut Samity) Offices and Bank is gradually expanding its collection booths in all PBS offices around the country.
