NRBC Bank signs pre-financing agreement with Bangladesh Bank to support the Frozen Food Sector. Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director & CEO of NRBC Bank PLC, and A.K.M. Sayduzzaman, Director of Agricultural Credit Department-2, Bangladesh Bank, signed the agreement at Bangladesh Bank Headquarters in the presence of Arief Hossain Khan, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, as the Chief Guest. Under the Tk 2,000 crore fund, eligible entrepreneurs in the export-oriented frozen food sector will have access to financing at concessional interest rates of up to 7%, supporting business expansion, production capacity and export competitiveness. Md. Shaheen Howlader, DMD & CBO, NRBC Bank, Md. Ramjan Ali Bhuiyan, Head of SME & Agri Business Department, Muhammad Ansarul Kabir, Additional Director, Bangladesh Bank, and Tanjia Sultana, Joint Director, Bangladesh Bank, along with senior officials from both organizations, were also present.
