NRBC Bank holds 16th Shariah Supervisory Committee meeting

The 16th meeting of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of Al-Amin Islamic Banking of NRBC Bank PLC was held recently at the bank’s head office. Sayed Mohammad Mosaddek Billah Al-Madani, chairman of the Shariah Supervisory Committee, presided over the meeting. Committee members Dr Mohammad Obaidullah and Hafiz Mufti Saiful Islam, Managing Director and CEO Dr Md Touhidul Alam Khan, FCMA, and Head of Islamic Banking Division Md Abdul Gofur Rana, CSAA, were present the meeting. The meeting discussed various aspects of the bank’s Al-Amin Islamic Banking operations, Shariah compliance and related matters. The committee stressed ensuring strict adherence to Shariah principles across the bank’s Islamic banking activities. The members provided necessary guidance on maintaining Shariah-compliant practices in Islamic banking operations and ensuring quality services for customers. The meeting also emphasized further expansion of Al-Amin Islamic Banking and improving the quality of Shariah-based banking services.
