NRBC Bank inaugurated “Mujib Corner” to celebrate Bangabandhu birth centenary

NRB Commercial Bank Ltd has inaugurated “Mujib Corner” to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of his birth centenary. On 18th March 2020, Wednesday Honorable Home Minister, Freedom Fighter Mr. Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, MP inaugurated the “Mujib Corner” as Chief Guest. The Honorable Chairman of NRBC Bank Mr. Parvez Tamal attended the program as Guest of Honor. Honorable Founder Chairman Engr. Farasath Ali, Honorable Director Mr. Loquit Ullah, Director Mr. Mahammed Manzurul Islam, Director Mr. A K M Mostafizur Rahman, Sponsor Mr. Azadul Haq, Sponsor Dr. Rafiqul Islam Khan, Sponsor Mr. Mohammed Shafiqul Islam, Shareholder Mr. Mohammad Ali Chowdhury were present on the ceremony. Chief Guest Home Minister expressed gratitude towards the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for introducing the concept of “Mujib Corner”. He said, country’s economic liberty can be achieved by implementing the ideology of Bangabandhu. He urged all to work together to create a Golden Bangla free from hunger and poverty according to the dream of Bangabandhu. Guest of Honor Mr. Parvez Tamal said, following the charismatic leadership and guidance of the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina NRBC Bank has devoted itself to realize the goal of making the country economically independent just as Bangabandhu wanted. Bank’s Managing Director & CEO Mr. Md. Mukhter Hossain, Additional Managing Director Mr. Kazi Md. Talha, Deputy Managing Director Mr. Md. Rabiul Islam and the Heads of all Divisions of the Bank were also present in the ceremony. Books, Photograph, Documentary of Bangabandhu’s life and works are put on display at the “Mujib Corner” of NRBC Bank. Moreover, a “Mujib Corner” has also been set up at Barishal branch premises of the Bank.
